Shockingly, later on starting with the Windows Media Player 9 and 10 Series, Musical Colors had disappeared. On the other hand, version 8.0.0.4487 was bundled with 'Windows XP'. In version 7.0.0.1440, there was an unsupported preset named 'Ice Crystals'. 'Ice Crystals' was one of the 3D presets for version 8.0.0.4487, and the preset 'WinMe 3D' was unsupported for version 8.0.0.4487. 'WinMe 3D' displays colors of blue, light blue, green, yellow, and orange, and 'Ice Crystals' displays shades of only light blue.Presets. Night Lights.

WinMe 3D (for Windows Media Player 7 and 7.1 for Windows Millennium Edition, installable on Windows 98 and 2000?). Ice Crystals (for Windows Media Player 9-12 and for Windows XP, Windows Vista or later).

Hi, after reformatting my computer I noticed my Windows Media Player visualisations running very slowly, I updated my video card drivers and Windows Media Player, all to no avail. But the strange thing is is that when i right-click the visualisation, it runs smoothly, i'm not sure why this is. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make it run smoothly again?(Video acceleration is on full, if that helps?)Windows Media Player 10Windows XP1.1GHZ AMD DuronSiS 741 64mb graphics card512MB RAM. You didn't mention those two before; They run better if a window partly covers the screen, or the Start Menu.Start Menu?I'm not sure I understand where the Start Menu comes into this problem. There's something else as well.

How do you right click the visualisation screen? No, I'm not being daft, but when you right click a menu appears. Does the visualisation run smoothly 'immediately' you right click, or do you select anything off the menu? What happens when you clear the right click menu?

Does the visualisation continue to run smoothly? What would happen if the WMP window was out of focus? Eg, if you clicked anywhere on the desktop around the player, or opened another window next to but not covering the player. Does the visualisation slow down? What would happen if you 'reduced' video acceleration in WMP Options Performance. Visualisations don't need a lot of graphic acceleration so reducing it may give your graphic card the capability to run the visualisation at the right speed. And, what is the 'offscreen buffer size'?Mark.
