The Modem and Broadband adapters are all I know that use Serial Port 1. I heard something about some dev peripheral using Serial Port 2 but nothing concrete. I would love to know what uses it too.

The connector was removed from the console on DOL-001 Revision B units but the spots on the motherboard are still there from what I saw on mine. Even the case has the hole and cover that says 'Serial Port 2' for it as well.

No idea if the spots are still there on a DOL-101 but my guess is that they aren't. There's no hole in the case for it on DOL-101 units.Hopefully someone can shed more light on it.
